It’s high in protein, antioxidants, omega 3 fatty acids, vitamin C, B1, B6 and A (to name a few), fiber, manganese, potassium, selenium, folate, iron, calcium, phosphorous and more.

I Love A Dog developed this mix in response to Ruby’s (the founders dog) cancer diagnosis and combined it with fresh, raw, human quality meat such as grass fed beef, or kangaroo, or free range and chemical free chicken, or even sardines to create a healthy, balanced meal that fed her but not the cancer. The proportion of Super Veggie Mix to meat should be generally 30-40% to 70-60% (which also includes 10% offal) but this can change depending on your dog’s health needs and if you are looking to generate ketosis.

If you are aiming for ketosis then use less SVM to fatty animal protein (such as grass fed beef or chemical free chicken), and add an egg, flaxseed meal or creamy cheese. Be sure to measure and balance meal constituents appropriately and take blood levels regularly. Seek practitioner advice before embarking on strong keto diet.
